dream: pockets of cheese

I dreamed I had e-spiked brie cubes in my pocket. But it got mixed up with all of the rest of the cheese cubes in my pockets, about a grocery bag full. So I couldn't do the drugs in the cheese unless I wanted to eat it all.

I am always in search of clothing that has pockets. I beginning to sew additional pockets into some of my clothing I own already. Is this an obsession?

The following items are currently in all of my pockets:

-cell phone -turned off- necessary evil
-cigarette case with my ID, debit card, business card from the International Spy Shop on Folsom (you never know)
-safety pins
-plastic cockroaches
-matches
-leatherman
-money and change
-keys
-skeleton gloves
-rolling papers (cough, cough)

I feel like I just gave away some of my secrets.

through occupational stupidity, i burned my lips this past weekend and have quite faithfully been carrying around Balsalm Poplar Balm made from the extract of cottonwood buds, olive oil, beeswax and Vitamin E oil.

The healing powers in this little container in my pocket, have been remarkable!

i love my vest...it has LOTS of pocket space. in it right now there is:
LEFT POCKET: a set of keys with 3 door keys, a mailbox key, a car key, it's all on a kilt pin with a can opener, a big red die (from Vegas) and a mini-can of lock de-icer. in the pocket with the key-kilt-pin, are 2 white lighters, a little wallet with a house key and a car key, the whole world and a pen on it, one left-handed grey glove and a quartz crystal given to me by my beautiful friend Gabriel, for clarity.

RIGHT POCKET: one raspberry flavored tootsie pop, a book of matches, two peppermints, one piece of green gum, wintergreen Blitz, a fine point sharpie, chocolate frost lipstick, and 2 tubes of lip care sticks. oh, and one right-handed grey glove.

OH! and there is a little inside pocket that has a bag in it so that i can stuff the whole vest inside the bag and use it as a pillow....i LOVE my vest!!

i had a dream that i visited assaf (my neighbor who i'm just friends with). my dog threw up, as he often does. and i got to wear a big pair of man's jeans. that's totally a fetish of mine, wearing men's clothes.

but i got to see what was in his pocket. wallet, phone, a few crumbled bills.

i didn't want anything out of his pocket, and it wasn't sexual.

what does this mean?

-a sandwich

-a really good book that's always new and never ends
-$1000 dollars (it's just that way sometimes, ya know?)
-a personal warp space cabinet in which to put things I might need at any moment (it can be reached from anywhere, fit an almost infinite amount of stuff, and doesn't take up any space in your pocket. You know, like IF and RPG characters have to carry around treasure and equipment.)

Maybe I can't really wish for the last one. That's like wishing for more wishes. In that case, I'd like to have a pair of gloves in my pocket instead.

Every woman needs one of these. I just got one on Saturday and am quite pleased with it.

What it is: a cute little black lace band, with elastic, that fits around your thigh. It has a built in pocket big enough for ID, a little cash, etc. It looks a little like a garter belt. It goes under your skirt when your skirt has no pocket. You can dance quite effectively without it sliding down.

Hahaha! My days of using boys as pockets when I go out are over!! I don't need boys any more!!

Two of my friendly neighborhood bars now have blackboards in the restrooms. So, I broke out the ole chalk chuck, went to Toys'R to get chalk, and now it's nestled in my pocket next to my Sharpie.

OK, so it's not _in_ my pocket, it's sitting on my desk, but I am now the proud, ecstatic, and immensely hungry owner of a fondue set.

I received this at my company's holiday gift exchange extravaganza, somehow narrowly avoiding the kitchy holiday napkins, the men's cologne, the Starbucks gift certificate, and the gifts recycled from last year's exchange.

Long have I coveted a fondue pot! Long have I been hungering for gooey, hot cheese with little chunks of bread and mushroom and broccoli and apple for dipping! Long has my mouth watered at the thought of bits of banana and strawberry dipped it dark chocolate, thinned out with yummy liquors!

My joy knows no bounds.

Just my money clip at the moment. If you haven't tried the money clip and you're still doing the wallet thing your missing out. I know its a little retro, but I'm telling you, no more bulge! And you can still fit IDs and such. Sure, at first I was a little wierded out whipping out my "roll" for all to see at the check stand, but you get over that pretty quickly. Money clips rule!

a pile of receipts

an aging handspring visor, containing shopping lists, phone numbers, secrets, dates, and appointments from the last two and a half years of my life. also, a planisphere and a list of all the public bathrooms in san francisco.

a wallet. it's falling apart. i don't even want to think about what's in there.

holes. keys. the keys stick through the holes. they're cold on my legs. something will have to be done about that soon.

a pen. i left my nice purple fountain pen at the house of a former lover. i don't have the heart to ask for it back. she still wants me, i think, but all she gets is my pen. now i have a nondescript black ballpoint.

a metal tool that makes all the geeks come and talk to me whenever i try to use it to get something done. the knife is dull. my sharpener is packed away.

a bart ticket with almost $8 on it

an epinepherine auto-injector is usually there, but i've left it someplace else since it's winter

$14 in cash

i think that's all. this is from memory. my pants are actually on the other side of the room.

so, in a way, i don't have any pockets

I used to have a penchant for carrying small plastic goldfish around in my pocket, on which I could write my phone number when I gave it to a new friend (hard to lose, easy to remember). Wandering around with my friend Cheryl once, I looked over and said, "*I've* got a pocket full of fish." When she was done laughing, she said, "What a strange coincidence -- *I've* got a pocket full of fish, too!" and opened her jacket pocket to reveal a bag full of Swedish fish candies.
