I am always in search of clothing that has pockets. I beginning to sew additional pockets into some of my clothing I own already. Is this an obsession?
The following items are currently in all of my pockets:
-cell phone -turned off- necessary evil
-cigarette case with my ID, debit card, business card from the International Spy Shop on Folsom (you never know)
-safety pins
-plastic cockroaches
-matches
-leatherman
-money and change
-keys
-skeleton gloves
-rolling papers (cough, cough)
I feel like I just gave away some of my secrets.

Re: Pockets of Joy
Fri, December 12, 2003 - 12:14 PM"SOME" of your secrets? Does this mean there's more stuff in your pockets you haven't told us about? :)
I currently have a photo of an alpaca in my purse. Some of you were fortunate enough to see it Tuesday night. It brings me great joy.
Spreading the fluffy, alpaca-y goodness,
Alice -

Re: Pockets of Joy
Fri, December 12, 2003 - 1:19 PMI have super soft green gloves in my pocket, because it is Very Cold outside right now.
I have candy on my desk. It used to be in my pocket, but now it's on my desk because I will eat it eventually. And it was FREE.
Yay, for holiday parties with free candy!
ps. Alice, thank you for the alpaca-y goodness! Everyone can use a little of that. -

Re: Pockets of Joy
Fri, December 12, 2003 - 1:29 PMFree candy! Ha! That's what you get for living somewhere VERY COLD!!.... Uh, wait, that was supposed to sound much worse...
I'm bored at work with a vibrating phone in my pocket. Perhaps I should call myself.

Re: Pockets of Joy
Fri, December 12, 2003 - 2:22 PMI'm bored at work too. Today is my last day at work. If you give me your number I'll call your vibrating phone.
What I do with my plastic cockroach circus is none of your business!

Re: Pockets of Joy
Fri, December 12, 2003 - 2:41 PMah, you are the one occupying my rat's new room. ;) I promise to continue your pocket legacy in the house by sewing extra pockets onto my clothes. -
-
Re: Pockets of Joy
Fri, December 12, 2003 - 3:08 PMThe room may currently look like there is a rat living there, but watch out for the mouse that lives in there aleady.
He likes chocolate, especially Cadbury Creme Eggs after midnight. Not very good for digestion.
That little f@#ker ruined my left over easter candy. -

Re: Pockets of Joy
Fri, December 12, 2003 - 3:18 PMI wonder if my pet rat will scare him away? -

Re: Pockets of Joy
Fri, December 12, 2003 - 3:40 PMyou know, you could almost bill that as an event, charge admission, etc.... "rodent death match I: Miso the Titan takes on Resident Mouse." -
-
Re: Pockets of Joy
Fri, December 12, 2003 - 4:10 PMAfter Resident Mouse gets an injection of steriodal chocolate eggs I would not doubt if he may have enough energy to have an excitable heart attack.
Has anyone else ever noticed that subjects on tribe tend to digress into senseless non-sequitor babble?
or
witty one liners?
quick ...what do YOU have in your left pocket?

Re: Pockets of Joy
Mon, December 15, 2003 - 11:05 AMDid you go to the Lake Merritt fire jam last night? Did you worry about me spinning with my eyes closed? If so, we have met. Nice to meet you. :) -
-
Re: Pockets of Joy
Mon, December 15, 2003 - 11:18 AMThat was you?
You seemed offended and I felt bad after we left. I didn't mean for you to take my comment the way you took it. Have other people mentioned that to you, because you seemed really offended and annoyed.
Sorry :( -
-
Re: Pockets of Joy
Mon, December 15, 2003 - 11:31 AMNo worries. I was tired. I am usually better about disagreeing gracefully. Sorry.
No one else has mentioned it, actually. At least I don't stick my tongue out any more. ;)

Fri, December 12, 2003 - 4:42 PMThis tribe seems to be best used for digression. What else could I expect when I started a tribe that just begs the question: "Is there a banana in your pocket? Or are you just happy to see me?"

Watch out for those microdots! I hear you can go crazy from doing that stuff!!
PS What are all the antique tubes for?

Re: Pockets of Joy
Wed, March 3, 2004 - 5:51 AMThe tubes....I was trying to find someway to hook them up to make them glow. A kind of cyber jelly fish type of thing. Remember the part in the matrix when they pulled that thing out of his stomach. I thought they looked like seekers. -
